With a fully-loaded Yams Day 2017 right around the corner, love for the A$AP Mob is currently hitting a high point. Danny Brown, Lil Uzi Vert, Tyler, the Creator, Flatbush Zombies and more are set to perform around the Mob during the Yamfest, scheduled for next week at Madison Square Garden. Since the Mob’s release of Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends-, the collective has steadily been gaining traction as more of a unit, rather than a squad led by President Rocky and VP Ferg.
To bolster anticipation for the festival, the second of its kind, the Mob took the stage of The Late Show last night to perform “Crazy Brazy“, a track from the project featuring A$AP Rocky, A$AP Twelvyy, and Key!. Going along with the title of the track, the stage was set up like a psych ward, with Rocky appearing in a wheelchair pushed by a young nurse and Ferg rocking a VLone straight jacket. With so many artists just simply rapping or singing into a mic on late night tv, it’s refreshing to see the Mob make it into more of a production.
If you’re going to be anywhere near Manhattan on January 18th, we highly suggest you find yourself at the star-studded Yams Day Festival. With so many notable artists honoring his memory, his legacy is sure to live on well past his time on Earth. For now, watch the performance of “Crazy Brazy” below and let us know what you think!
