The Off Season is on its way and The Fall Off will follow up, but to warm us up J. Cole blessed us with a brand new track called “Album Of The Year (Freestyle).”

Over Nas’ “Oochie Wally” instrumental, Cole showed off his quick flow and lyrical bars for what is his latest release since his album dropped back in April. He’s been quiet for a few months, but yesterday he took to Twitter to tell his fans to feed him beats, meaning he’s definitely back in the studio.

Of course the sudden request was met with excitement from fans and fellow artists curious as to what Cole had cooking up his sleeve.

His latest album “KOD” made a huge splash and the final track on the album hinted at a future project that he may release later this year. This freestyle could be a preview of what to expect. If the projects are anything close to what this freestyle had to offer then he definitely won’t disappoint.
