Scorpion, Drake’s fifth studio album has officially been certified platinum by the RIAA. It’s Drake’s fifth platinum album in the U.S. However, the numbers for Scorpion, should not come as a surprise.

The album was anticipated for quite some time now, and the streaming era certainly helps push these numbers. “Nice For What” and “God’s Plan” helped move the process along. Prior to the album release, the two singles made the album eligible for a platinum certification.
