The members of SOB x RBE have watched their careers trend upwards since its humble beginnings. Consisting of Yhung T.O., DaBoii, Slimmy B and Lul G, their authentic Bay Area sound has propelled the group to new peaks as they gear up for the rest of an already successful 2018.

Joining the likes of Post Malone and 21 Savage on tour, SOB will be hitting the legendary Hollywood Bowl stage on June 27, which has played host to artists such as Kanye West, Chance the Rapper and Nas.

Immediately following the Southern California show, the Cali-based rappers travel across the country to perform in New York the very next night, kicking off a 27-city tour of their own that’s fittingly called Global Gangin.

The compressed schedule characterizes the never-end-grind that that this year has been so far for the rising artists.

The momentum goes back to early 2017 as the group released their self-titled mixtape. Early-on bangers like “Calvin Cambridge” and “Anti” caught the attention of many in the hip-hop industry for SOB.

Then in March of this year, SOB released their debut album titled “Gangin,” garnering interest from Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar, who eventually reached out to collaborate. That resulted in the recognizable hit off of the “Black Panther” soundtrack “Paramedic!”

In an interview with XXL, DaBoii said the four saw their careers begin to take off, but couldn’t predict the time table.

“We really spoke that shit into existence, but we didn’t expect for it to take off as fast as it did,” DaBoii said.

Aside from the touring they’ve endured so far as a group, members like Lul G and Slimmy B have released side projects of their own, adding to their heavy workload. DaBoii is the latest to announce work of his own coming soon as well.

If it’s not their music that wins you over, the relentless effort and amount of work they’re putting in is undoubtedly deserving of respect.

SOB x RBE will find themselves on the road until Dec. 13, where they finish off their tour overseas in Ireland.
