Joe Budden continues his grind
Joe Budden’s integrity is one of the many reasons people hate him. It’s also one of the many reasons people love him. From his music to his “media man” runs, Joe displays an earnest and caring love for the culture. For that reason, it’s only right that he inks a new deal, for, and about the culture.
Sean “Diddy” Combs and Joe Budden recently announced their new partnership under REVOLT MEDIA and TV. Joe’s new show State of the Culture is set to air this summer and will features topics such as social issues, politics, current subject matters and more—as told through the hip-hop lens.
“Finally, Joe Budden is officially part of the REVOLT family,” said REVOLT Chairman Sean “Diddy” Combs. “Joe has an authentic approach and he’s never afraid to speak the truth. His many talents deserve a platform that pushes the culture forward and we are excited to produce next-level content with him.”
The buildup for this announcement has been going on since the end of 2017, after Joe left Everyday Struggle. Joe co-hosted This Year Was Dope/Trash with Charlamange Tha God, branched under REVOLT MEDIA.
“Thank you to my business partner Ian Schwartzman and REVOLT for the opportunity to highlight my brutal honesty, passion and integrity. I love REVOLTING!! Together, we will continue to take this thing to heights unseen.
Joe is also hitting the road with his Podcast crew: Rory and Mal next month. It’s going to be a busy summer for Joe and REVOLT is happy to be involved.
“We are excited to launch a new era of REVOLT content with Joe Budden,” said REVOLT CEO Roma Khanna. “This is just the beginning of more great things to come as REVOLT leads from the center of Hip Hop culture.”
