Bad Boy meets Death Row.
Christian Combs, better known as King Combs, is carrying the torch for the Bad Boy legacy with his own hip-hop flair and the stamp of approval from his father. He has a knack for sampling classic 90’s songs and didn’t stray away from that recipe for his latest single and video, “Eyez On C.”
The single is purely inspired by 90s hip-hop using a sample from Tupac’s classic song “All Eyez On Me.” The video, directed by Kaito, takes place in what appears to be sunny California with Combs dripping in jewels surrounded by flashy cars.
“Eyez On C” is the single he chose to lead way for his upcoming debut mixtape, ‘90’s Baby,’ set to drop this Wednesday. The tape is his ode to the iconic era, honoring East and West coast rap. There’s no one more fitting in this generation to honor such a legendary time for hip-hop than the heir to the Bad Boy throne.
