The visual (styled by Felton Kizer & directed by Liam Trumble) is a commanding anthem, compelling sound, and small yet necessary introduction to Wil’s musical presence. In this video, Wil hones in on his desire to “flex” while showcasing his lyrical ability. The opulent nature of the visual matches his energy in a fine way. It also allows the Chicago rapper to showcase the negative side effects of stunting may have on his world.
The last 45 seconds of the video depicts Wil in a straight jacket & clearly not himself as it seems this desire to “flex” may have driven him to insanity. While this may only be a visual, there are many artists in the game today that may be able relate to this record.
This is one of a few singles set to drop in the coming months.
Moreover, if you’re in Chicago November 10th, tickets can be purchased here to see Wil live in action at Sub-T. He’ll also be performing live alongside B.o.B. in Basecamp, Lisle on December 8th. Be sure to check out the visual above and let us know your thoughts!
