As Latin Trap slowly infects the music industry as the hottest new sound, many of music’s top entertainers have already been infected as like Beyonce and Migos’ Quavo who have hopped on remixes to the it’s new genre’s biggest songs like the Karol G and Bad Bunny four-time platinum hit, “Ahora Me Llama”

Picking up from his Travis Scott & Young Thug hit, “Pick Up the Phone”, Quavo laces Karol G’s remix with an auto-tuned overdose hook and verse to his spicy latina who won’t pick up the phone baby. Fans will enjoy the signature vibe of the one-third of the Migos as he speaks on his love for a dancer, riding for the Hancho, and trappin’ out the Bando.

Karol G spoke to Billboard recently on Quavo joining her hit single, happily stating:

“When the label called me to talk about the remix, I was very surprised to learn that Quavo was adding his verse… I’m excited for American mainstream to see who Karol G is and to see what I can bring.”

Karol G and Bad Bunny are the most recognizable acts spearheading the new Latin Trap sound. Karol G has multiple hits surface this year alone with songs like “A Ella” and “Hello”. Along with Bad Bunny, Karol G has also collaborated with fellow rising Latin Trap act, Ozuna. Karol G is signed to Universal Music Group.

While known for bring the new Trap sound to the mainstream, this marks the first time Quavo has entered the Latin Trap scene. Also the first time Quavo and Bad Bunny collaborated officially. Bad Bunny produced a remix to the Quavo-featured new single by Major Lazor for “Know No Better”, also featuring Travis Scott and Camila Cabello.

“Ahora Me Llama” was originally released over the Summer back in May. The video quickly garnered over 380-million views and has been certified four-time platinum while it continues to ride the Billboard charts, currently sitting at #26 on Billboard Hot 100 Latin Songs.

Karol G’s debut album slated to be released worldwide at the end of the month via UMG. Karol G will now be touring with Kevin Roldan, with shows in the Dominican Republic, Peru and her native Colombia before finishing out the year with the European leg of her tour.
