Ain’t no complaints

Through August into the fall months, “Bad & Boujee” was birthed, released as a single for MigosCulture album and done right with visuals. In October, Migos teased their studio album with a track-list. The track-list featured songs like “T-Shirt,” “Brown Paper Bag (“Paper Bag” at the time), “Kelly Price,” “Bad and Boujee” and the intro.

Looking further down the track-list, you can “No Complaints” produced by Metro Boomin. The track is now Metro Boomin’s first single under his Boominati label. The track features Offset and Drake. The dark and grim single finds Offset freestyling his verse and hook as he finds a comfortable groove and Drake following along in similar fashion.

Can’t help but think what a Quavo and Takeoff verse would have sounded like for this single. It’ll also be interesting to know why the song didn’t fit the mold of Culture, factually. Listening to the Migos’ album structure, the song could have found a  spot right before “Brown Paper Bag.”

The song’s placement has worked in its favor and it’s going to be fun to see Metro put more songs together. Brings us back to his 19 & Boomin days.
