Baltimore artist Oscvr Wow channels the loss of his grandmother into his music. There’s pain that can lead to passion and creativity finding its way out of an unexpected curve.
“A brief uninterrupted EP created after the death of a very important person in my life,” Oscvr said. “People often asked what it would sound like and I told them it would sound like me. Not dark or twisted, not sadistic or full of misogyny. It’s full of the person who was shunned and made fun of but still loved the people who did the shunning– full of the heartbreak I went through during this time, but also full of love I wanted to give and couldn’t; Grandma’s Death is a requiem”¬†
