808 Mafia album in the works
The humble beginnings of 808 Mafia—instrumental in the beginning of Waka Flocka’s career. It’s been over seven years since the duo of Lex Luger and Southside came together to do something special. Producing for tons of our favorite artists, there doesn’t look to be any stopping point for the producers. Not failing to mention the amount of producers that have been added to the roster over time.
TM88 and Southside of 808 Mafia took to Twitter to announce that an 808 Mafia album is indeed in the works. The album won’t have the infamous Kill Bill sirens, but that’s the least of any concern. Tre Pounds (producer of Big Sean’s “Moves” and Migos’ “Culture”) was in the studio yesterday, getting some work in for the project (June 24).
808 Mafia, as stated previously, are known to work with our favorite artists, so you know they’re going to come with some bangers. “XO TOUR LIif3” and “Mask Off” are just a couple of the tracks 808 Mafia has touched this year.
As time progresses, we’ll keep you informed about the album’s details. Stay tuned.
