The Grammy’s announce performances from The Weeknd, Anderson .Paak, and more

Anderson .Paak

It looks like The Grammy’s are going to be pretty funky this year. The Recording Academy released a list of performers today and it stands to be a great one.

The Weeknd will take the stage with Daft Punk to perform “Starboy“, while Alicia Keys and Maren Morris also share the spotlight together. One performance sticks out far more than the others though: Anderson .Paak with A Tribe Called Quest and Foo Figther’s rocker Dave Grohl. Wow. Just wow. Can you imagine what that will be like? The energy of those names on stage will surely bring down the house. Such a legendary rap group sharing a performance with a new superstar and a rock legend is sure to be the most talked about performance in the rap world the next morning. The Grammy’s will also serve to be Daft Punk’s first live show in three years, so we expect their appearance with The Weeknd to be top notch.

This is the second round of performance announcements, joining the ranks of Adele, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, Metallitca, and John Legend. More performances are to be announced, one of them being an all-star roster that will perform a Prince tribute. The Grammy’s will be held on February 12th at 8PM, hosted by James Corden.
