Wu heads rejoice! Today is Raekwon the Chef’s birthday, on which we send him the best wishes, and he’s blessed us with an announcement regarding his new studio album titled The Wild.
The Chef took to his Instagram earlier today to unveil the cover art for the project, which features himself towering over his wilderness-ridden city like King Kong. Filled with “alot of excitment…blood sweat and tears”, the album will focus on the current political and social climate of the country. “This project was designed for the culture of rap to know aint a dam thing change since the beginning of my career,” he writes on the post.
We’re definitely stoked for the release, though there’s been no official release date given. For now, send him your birthday wishes and prepare for his lyrical onslaught!
