Trouble’s brewing in the Wu.

U-God, a founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan, is suing…the Wu-Tang Clan. He claims that he hasn’t gotten due compensation for royalties granted to him by his contract. Blaming RZA and his brother Mitchell Diggs, he’s looking to be reimbursed upwards of $2.5 million, amassed from payments that have been lacking for six years. The suit also claims God has seen no money from the $2 million sale of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, the record-setting sale that saw the exclusive Clan album fall into the hands of pharma-bro Martin Shkreli. The album seems like it’s caused more trouble than it’s worth, as Method Man has also previously voiced his disappointment in RZA’s handling of it’s sale

U-God has worked on over 170 Wu tracks since the group’s inception back in 1993. Hopefully the Clan can work out their financial issues and get back to creating music that we ALL can enjoy!
