Kodak Black isn’t the only rapper having a rough time with the law at the moment. Young Money‘s Lil Twist has been sentenced to one year behind bars for an incident that occured in 2014 involving actor Chris Massey, best known for his role as Michael in the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101.
Twist apparently broke into Massey’s LA apartment, stole his Rolex, and beat him with brass knuckles after the two had an altercation at a party. The young rapper seems to be in high spirits however, letting off a tweet after the conviction was read:
Just left court . TMZ bout to break the news I’m sho!! It’s over but not really, GOD got me !! ??

Lil Twist has been part of Young Money for nearly a decade, but most recently he’s been known as Justin Bieber‘s partner in crime. That is, up until Bieb’s manager, Scooter Braun, blasted him as a bad influence, driving a split between the two. Twist had been working on his debut album, Bad Decisions, but those plans will be on hold for the next year as he puts in his time. Maybe prison will see him become a new man and switch the title to Good Decisions.
