Kid Cudi may be out of rehab, much praise for that, but until now we hadn’t seen a new release date for his album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’. That’s all changed today, as an iTunes pre-order has announced we will be getting the project on December 16th. It also appears that he changed the black-and-white album cover to a more colurful schematic. The album will feature Andre 3000, Willow Smith, and Pharrell, who appeared on the previous single “Surfin‘”. Though we definitely respect Cudi’s healing process, we’re getting mighty hungry for some new Moonman, and he’ll be coming through soon!
Along with the pre-order update, we also get a new treat with “Baptized in Fire“, a single featuring Travis Scott. It seems La Flame is returning the favor to his idol, after Cudi appeared on Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. The two certainly have a unique chemistry that knows no musical bounds, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for them as collaborators.
With the new album just two weeks away, make sure you pre-order and listen to “Baptized in Fire” HERE.
