Kanye West was admitted to UCLA Medical Center for the past week, due to depression, paranoia, and sleep deprivation. Despite any rants that he’s gone on stage to conduct, there’s still sympathy to be felt for him. At the end of the day, he’s still a human being – held to a standard that many of us do not have to be. Now, Ye’ never holds his tongue towards anything he feels a way about, but the anger and dismay that rested uncomfortably within his words — led me to believe that there was a bigger issue; anxiety, stress, or depression, to be specific. At the time of everything that transpired during his Saint Pablo Tour rants, it was rounding the anniversary of his mother’s death. The rants felt like a cry for help — so help me God. It brought back memories of Kid Cudi’s lash-out comments on Twitter. At the end of the day. But there’s no doubt about it, there’s light at the end of his personal tunnel.
It’s been reported that Kanye wants to continue his creative process by recording from his bed. Yes, it does draw back the memories of his 2002-recorded single “Through The Wire.” Integrity kept close at its finest, Ye’ told a tale that only he could express properly. Now that’s he wants to make music from his bed, will inspire him to create from a different place. The feeling will most certainly be different.
“Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in his bed,” a source told Us. “And he has kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines… He continues to want to work and Kim has to keep telling him to rest.”
It’s great to hear that Kanye wants to keep creating, but his health is obviously more of an importance — to his fans and those around him who love him, dearly. Kendal Jenner said “everyone is okay, just praying.” We’ll continue to keep Kanye in our prayers as well.
